Tokyo Rail Map Lite App Reviews

This is a great App for foreigners trying to cope with local transportation in Tokyo. Routes are found nicely. It finds the user based on GPS information only and thus no internet and resulting roaming fees are necessary. I wish, there would be similar apps for other towns in the world.

Its a good work, but please try to extend it for other prefectures too, like for example Chiba.

And I welcome more features, of course, route highlighting when choosing source and destination is a truly needed feature. I hope you can extend it to cover Greater Tokyo lines as well. And making A and B points possible. But I can only imagine what a huge project my wish can be! Good luck!

Very good and useful map

After looking through the other Apps, I finally found this one. I could not ask for more. Toggle-able Japanese characters/names, landscape mode without advertising for a larger view, searching by metro line... Includes JR, Perfect!!

Nice from what Ive seen but have yet to keep it up for more than a minute. Crashes when loading adds.

Very useful. Would be perfect with a route finder but otherwise an excellent product.

Would be even better if it told you how to get from A to B, but its still good to have.

Comprehensive and free!

This app has made navigating Tokyo a breeze! Im exploring the city on my own and have full confidence thanks to this app. I just refer to it in my hotel, write down which lines to take and stops to get off at and off I go!

Used this when traveling to Tokyo. Great for figuring out which rail to get on. Still needed a city map, but definitely a useful addition. Plus its free and it stores all on the phone so no need for Internet. Doesnt have a schedule which would make it perfect.

Doesnt work, crashes, even caused my iPod touch to crash

not a day of our trip to Tokyo has gone by that we havent used this nifty little app on our ipad mini. zero complaints. never crashes. extremely handy. if youre going to Tokyo with an ipad youre crazy not to get it.
