Tokyo Rail Map Lite App Reviews

This app is the best thing I brought with me to Japan. It was unbelievably helpful for getting around. And an Internet connection isnt even necessary. I cant give it enough stars.

Reviews seems good however every time I open the app it crashes. So it doesnt me no good.

Very good app!! First time in Japan. Locater works well as long as you are above ground.

Useful for navigating the Tokyo railways. An improvement would be to enable clicking directly on the map for subway or train line information. The clean interface is a plus

The best app!

This app does exactly what it says it does. Ive been in Tokyo for three months now and Id be lost without it. The colors all correspond with the trains making it easier to find your line, especially in the larger stations like Shinjuku. The search feature is simple and awesome. Launches quickly, never crashes, does its job and does it well. Definitely recommend it to anyone new to Tokyo.

Simple and nice but I wish that it would let you zoom in more. The Japanese characters are too small and even the English isnt all that much better. Overall, though, I think its very good.

I just moved to Tokyo and Im so glad to have this useful rail/subway map to help me navigate this megalopolis!

This app crashes just seconds after opening. I deleted it and uploaded it again and it still crashes. I cannot even give it a proper review because of the crashing problem.

Better than any paper map I could find in Tokyo.

Great app. Ads super annoying, but a very useful app if you have a solid internet connection. Downloaded the pay one and was even better w/or internet connection.

This is the fourth app I downloaded to help navigate my way the Tokyo metro transportation system. I deleted the rest and kept this one because it does show only the subway lines and stops but also shows the JR lines. This made it a lot easier to find my way without having to bug other commuters to ask for help. I couldnt find some stops with the other apps.

This is a basic map of Tokyo rail lines but it does not have a key to the different lines by color and letter so is virtually impossible to use. I did use it as an adjunct to another map that did have the key as this shows the lines fairly clearly once you can figure out which is which. If you only want one map, dont bother with this one.
